The Idaho Horror Film Festival is excited to announce the attendance of Scream Queen, Adrienne King! IHFF will honor Ms. King with the first ever, IHFF Trailblazer Award for her advocacy of women in film and especially in the genre of horror. She has been supportive in her endeavors for women’s rights, victim’s rights and being the First Final Girl, she’s become a touchstone and inspiration to so many ultimate survivors.

Please join us for a special screening of Friday the 13th at the Egyptian Theater on Friday, October 13th at 8pm. Award presentation and Q&A session to follow.

Just like i48, but without the PG requirement. h48 is held each year in October as part of the Idaho Horror Film Festival, with a limited number of teams that can participate. Teams are given a horror genre, line, and prop that they must use in the 4-6 minute film.

For those of you who have lived under a rock...

Jack Torrance (Jack Nicholson) becomes winter caretaker at the isolated Overlook Hotel in Colorado, hoping to cure his writer's block. He settles in along with his wife, Wendy (Shelley Duvall), and his son, Danny (Danny Lloyd), who is plagued by psychic premonitions. As Jack's writing goes nowhere and Danny's visions become more disturbing, Jack discovers the hotel's dark secrets and begins to unravel into a homicidal maniac hell-bent on terrorizing his family.
